Forest Drinking Stations Pousada Xaraes, Estrada Parque, Brazil Book now
A few months after the last floods have receded, the Pantanal becomes extremely dry, providing great opportunities for our most popular and well-tested form of photography: drinking station hides in the forested areas. We have built two different drinking stations here, in two different forest patches, each of them with their own list of species that frequent them. Both hides can comfortably seat 3 photographers at a time and on a dry day, each of them are visited by over 40 incredible species of birds, as well as a dozen or more mammals, potentially including the rare Giant Anteater and even the elusive Jaguar!
