King Vulture Hide - Details

Our hide is specifically designed for King Vultures, the most attractive vulture species in the world. During our 4 months season, the birds receive a few kg of meat every day, resulting in frequent visits not only by the King Vultures, but also Black Vultures, Turkey Vultures, Caracaras and even songbirds that feed on the worms around the meat. Our hide is half way in the ground and covered with thick layer of soil, thus its climate is the best among our Costa Rican hides. The approach route and the covered back entrance allows us to enter the hide at any time of the day, without disturbing the birds on the ground and on the surrounding trees.
